Eclipse Track & Field Running Club

Eclipse has been such a wonderful, supportive team for my young teen daughter this year. She's just finished her first season of competitive track, has made many friends and had such a great time doing so. Coach Cathy and Coach Dwayne were particularly helpful with her this season and deserve special shout outs. Coach Cathy obviously cares about her athletes and is a wonderful leader and role model. She really does have a good thing going with the Eclipse Track & Field Running Club. Easy recommendation for anyone looking for a home for their young, or older, athlete.

Cathy has been a positive, personable role model for our daughter as she recovers from a soccer injury. We’re seeing much fruit from the labour. Highly commend and recommend Cathy and the craft she’s accomplished.

My daughter joined Eclipse during the covid pandemic as a form of exercise. What drew us to Eclipse was the warmth of the coaches and how much they cared, invested and impacted the athletes. This has kept us at Eclipse. My daughter is happy and excited to go to the practises and now actively competes. Thanks Eclipse for investing your time, efforts and finances into our kids.

My daughter enjoys coming to practices. It is a safe and positive environment for her. Eclipse handled Covid very well, making sure the players were safe. The Track and Field meet is where I witnessed all of the team members hard work paying off. Coach Cathy is equally and fully attentive towards all of her athletes. During the meet she made sure to warm up her athletes and practiced with them. She made sure we were prepared. If you’re looking for a safe and encouraging team environment where they teach you the proper techniques, then you’ve found the right team. Thank you Coach Cathy!

This is an amazing TRACK & FIELD CLUB. It is well run by a very caring person. Communication is easy and coaches are always available to provide updates about my 2 children who are 10 and 12. After trying out different sports, my children have decided that sporting activities with Eclipse is their preference for the future. We live in Whitby and training locations are very convenient. I hope this club stays with us for a long time. Lastly, head coach (Cathy) is very knowledgeable and passionate about Sports and Health. It makes me very comfortable to have my kids training at Eclipse. Cathy has a healthy relationship with the athletes and parents. GREAT CLUB.

I can't say enough great things about Coach Cathy and all of the coaches. My kids loved their summer running and throwing with them. Seeing my kids learn to run properly and then be able to compete much better when playing other sports showed me how much they had learned. Best of all they loved it and they are sad they cant continue this winter but they will be back asap next year.To all of the staff thank you for teaching my kids, and making them healthier and better athletes all around. I cant recommend Eclipse enough.

After many years of playing high competitive soccer, my son decided to switch over to track. He was very nervous about being one of the older kids and never being part of this sport.Cathy and the entire team welcomed him with open arms and made him feel at home instantly.This is an amazing club where everybody helps each other and cheers each other on.Thank you to all the coaches for being so amazing and making this difficult transition so easy, enjoyable and most of all fun.

Awesome Coaches and team spirit! My children have really grown, developed better skills and improved technique and speed during this winter season. Would definitely recommend this club.

Coach Cathy and Eclipse Track and Field is fantastic. She has catered training for my son, who plays high performance soccer, and we rely on her training to not only maintain, but to continually improve his speed, agility and endurance.
